Hire them now. We just bought a house built in 1890 that has been through it all. It's been rented so long that the walls were left in "interesting" shape with layer after layer of white paint, just covering things left in the walls. We called Hoffman based on reviews we found and got a good estimate right away. We were lucky to be assigned Jason to do the work. We wondered why one person was sent as it would take longer, but once he got working it was clear things were going to be amazing. And amazing it is. He took time to go over each and every spot to prep it just right for the paint. There was unique caulking on the window and door frames, but his skills of the craft created straight lines. I've never seen anyone work so carefully when painting rooms in a house. It was like he was painting his own home. The end result is a home who now shows the charm of what it once was. I worked with John from Hoffman Painting to get the exterior of my house painted. I am really happy with the work his team did. As you can see in the attached photos, the before and after is amazing, it completely transformed the house. I had trouble finding a contractor to fix some of the exterior work prior to the painting, and John was able to connect me with someone who was able to do it. The last few years I had tried to work with other unreliable companies to get this done, and they kept pushing the timeline back and never ultimately completed the job. Very happy customers! John provided a great exterior home painting experience. He came to assess our home in 2023 where we discussed the quality of our cedar siding, what colors would best suit our style and the house itself, and what would be included in the service. He is very easy to converse with and clearly listens to his customers. When the time came to paint, John was extremely good at communicating the schedule and any delays that might be upcoming. He was very accommodating with phone calls and taking the time to answer questions in detail and length when needed. Before painting began John revisited the home to get reacquainted with the layout and painting plan. His painters, Tom and Jason, we very friendly and nice to talk to. They did a fantastic job on an old home that had clearly been neglected prior to our ownership. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do and wanted us to be really happy with the outcome. They communicated with John frequently to provide updates and get his opinion when something didn’t seem right.
